I got this ring for my girlfriend as a gift for 2 years together, and she couldn't be happier. This is one of her birth stones, and apparently alexandrite is the color changing variety of chrysoberyl. Sometimes this stone will look green, and other times a deep purple / blue. I got her a size 7 that fits perfect, and the rose gold was a good choice for this ring. I paired it with an alexandrite bracelet, and both in combination just look incredible.
