Our raw Garnets are mined in Namibia and Sri Lanka. Garnets are known as the mental stone, which has the ability to turn negative minds into positive minds. It is one of the oldest crystals that was used for protection. Garnet is a January birthstone, a traditional gift for the 2nd and 6th-anniversary celebrations. Please Note: Because of the unique nature of raw stones, there won't be any two natural crystals that will be precisely the same. We cut our crystals to be very similar in shape and color.

HOW TO CLEAN A RAW CRYSTAL STONE AND STERLING SILVER
- Clean with silver cleaner
- Wash with clean water, toothbrush, or dish soap
- Store in a moist-free area or in a felt-lined jewelry box
- You can also store it in a silver cloth wipe or clear reclosable bag.
- To clean the raw stones, clean with mineral oil or baby oil which is made from mineral oil.
- If you trying to clean the rough inclusion on a raw stone, use a cotton Q-tip with some mineral oil to get to those corners.
- Wear them regularly, friction prevents tarnishing
- Store your fine jewelry away from costume jewelry.

I got this ring for my girlfriend as a gift for 2 years together, and she couldn't be happier. This is one of her birth stones, and apparently alexandrite is the color changing variety of chrysoberyl. Sometimes this stone will look green, and other times a deep purple / blue. I got her a size 7 that fits perfect, and the rose gold was a good choice for this ring. I paired it with an alexandrite bracelet, and both in combination just look incredible.
